Cloudy spots in paint

I pulled the cover off my car after only 2 days and I noticed some cloudy marks that have seemingly come from no where. Any help to fix or what happened is appreciated. Thanks

Hard to say without seeing those spots but, it could be water spotting.

sorry just got to a computer to post pics. it seems to be in the clear coat and its extremely noticable.
These spots came from nowhere and I am very unhappy as you may tell.
One is located on the front passenger fender (driver side in us) and the other is on the flat part of the rear boot

Humidity/moisture. Once the cover has been off for a while, they'll go away.

No luck. Would I have completely ruined my chances of it going away by trying to polish it

Could be High spots under your paint sealant......was the car detailed before going under the cover?

I really don't think so, unless you did something really wrong in how you polished it, ie only if you created some new problem with your polishing technique. I can't really say why, but I tend to agree with the others who've said it's likely to disappear on its own.

Not sure when it showed up...but it's been many many years....size hasn't really changed....but hasn't gone away

Wow, I may stand corrected. That's really odd. I've loved doing exterior detailing through the years, have had nothing but great luck with the original finish on my Box.

They sort of resemble dog markings (the first picture, anyway). Did you wash it before covering?
It may take a few days out in they sun for them to fade.

+1 to water spots and giving it a few days. One of my Boxsters had been sitting with a wet bra for quite a while before I bought it. The front of the hood was faded just like the spot in your pic. At first I thought the paint would never recover, but it did over about a week. The factory paint is water soluble.

i actually have a very similar spot on rear fender area....though smaller looks the same.
It's factory paint no repaint. It looks to be between factory clear and paint. I has not gotten bigger and has not gone away and doesn't look like it'll go away.
Is your car cobalt blue? Mine is cobalt

Yes the car was washed before going under covers but we did have 2 days of intense rain but the car is semi protected and has a very good waterproof cover. And the car is zenith blue. Thanks for all your help it’s fairly hot the next few days in Melbourne Australia so I’ll leave it in the sun a little bit and hot it disappears.

Any chance there was something on the cover itself that could have contacted the paint? I just think it's odd that the areas of concern are so specifically contained and don't look to have "runs"

That's moisture in the clear coat. . Is your car stored indoors or outdoors? They will go away.
