Humidity/moisture. Once the cover has been off for a while, they'll go away.

No luck. Would I have completely ruined my chances of it going away by trying to polish it

Could be High spots under your paint sealant......was the car detailed before going under the cover?

I really don't think so, unless you did something really wrong in how you polished it, ie only if you created some new problem with your polishing technique. I can't really say why, but I tend to agree with the others who've said it's likely to disappear on its own.

Wow, I may stand corrected. That's really odd. I've loved doing exterior detailing through the years, have had nothing but great luck with the original finish on my Box.
