Don't know about you, but I didn't buy my Boxster to remove the convertible top and change it's looks. I want to convertible top and I love the looks of the 986.

well, i find it interesting on two points ...

- overall dimensions and windshield rake seem to translate very well to the 991 look, so porsche may not have evolved the 996 to 991 as much as you'd think.

- might be good for a race car build where you get a lot of lightweight body panels, a hardtop, and ability to run much wider tires.

I like the look and conversion. 9k Canadian plus labour is the part I can't swallow but definitely way cheaper than a 991 lol
