Door not opening
I have a 2001 Boxster S with 90K KM on it. Recently I changed the locks on both door as one of the door is not opening. After changing the door locks now both door operate normally.
Today, after not driving the car for 6 days, I found that I can't open the doors again. My remote control is not opening door, trunk and frunk. I put the key in the hole and manually turn it but nothing. No sound and window also not lowering.
I suspect I might have a dead battery. But I wonder would a dead battery prevent me to open the door manually with the key in the hole and turn?
Any suggestion on what is happening?
