Purdue is the first non-southern school to have NC tags and I was in on the ground floor order, so mine just has a Boiler logo and B0021, not too interesting, alas.

harkening back to the days when I used to see plays on I8A-VET or I8A-4RE everywhere.....
I8A-Z4
or more subtle: 8A-ZED4
Should cause some fun when one pulls up next to you.

Glad this thread popped up - finally pushed me to order what I'd been toying with since I bought the Boxster.

I'm too cheep to get vanity plates, but if I lived in Virginia I'd consider this:

As I stated earlier, I'm too cheep to spring for vanity plates, but due to a shear coininsidence, this is the plate on our other Porsche:

In Pennsylvania its a 1 time fee of $20 and the plate is transferrable to your next car.
My Boxster plate reads 4SOLO2 but I need to change it to 4SOLO
I want to order a vanity plate for my tow vehicle BXTRHLR

Standing in line to register the car for the first time, I was thinking my choice for vanity plate would be simply "FUN". But, at $50/year on top of the ad valorem, I lost interest. My off the shelf tag, 3 letters 3 numbers, reads "ABE". How stoic is that?

I have thought about getting a frame reading "my other car is a minivan." It's true, and irony is funny...

In PA vanity plates are cheap. $20 one time fee.
I got mine in 2000 and have transferred it from one autox car to another. It reads 4SOLO2. I should probably change it to 4SOLO or 4AX

Oh
In Ohio it's $35 extra every year. Right now mine reads "PORSCHE" and I think I'll keep it.

Years back I saw one on a hopped up VW that said, DOGINU, I thought that was pretty good.
