My kids picked this one. For those who don't have kid's, this was Lightning McQueen's sponsor in the latest Disney movie Cars

It's a little more expensive here in Texas... and we still only get 6 characters.

I think it's about $70 for the plates, then $40 MORE on your yearly registration to keep the plates.

I thought about getting 'FR4Y'

'SCHNEL' was already taken... guy here in a yellow Audi A4, I think, has that one.

Maybe 'L0L WTF'

[QUOTE=Bateman]If I had the money (I'm still paying the car off!) I'd get a license plate that read "MYPRSH" or "BOXSTR" just to spite everyone that ever gave me crap about my old car (1995 Acura Integra - needed LOTS of work done to it) - and believe me when I say that I got hassled by EVERYONE about my car. What would your vanity plate say?

I am converting an old mansion into a hotel in Colombia. It is turning out to be a lot more work than I ever imagined so I am not reading the forum as much.

AK is friendly to custom plate buyers.....$30 for two years on top of normal registration fees, but only six letters. Also, since AK's population is small, lots of plates are stil available. I'd figure all the good ones in CA are already taken.

I ordered "NEIN86", had it for two weeks, than switched it to "1CEBOX".

I suspect I'll run into the origianl "ICEBOX" owner when I go to my first PCA autocross.

plates

My last name is Moxey, and my brother has a mustang with plates "Moxstang" so my wife bought me plates "Moxster" for xmas. I thought this was cool , but having only driven the car 4 times (then stored) the dirty looks and jealosy I have encounted while driving it, I have since returned the plates. I don't want to put a bullseye on the car for people "************************************s" of this world to damage it. The only other person I know with a boxster had his car keyed from tail light to headlight, not sure why, jealosy I guess.

Consider yourselves lucky. In Ontario custom plates from 6-8 letters are $280 plus $70 a year for the sticker. Got my TIB 2NR plates two years ago and now I'll have to cough up for something new. I don't think I'll ever get something vehicle specific again though. LOL I'll probably get something to do with the home based business I started that paid for this car.

I previously tried for VOTEGOP and GOPYES but they were already taken in the great state of NJ.

I have Airborne plates now though - apparently if you live in the Garden State and are a former paratrooper, you qualify for free plates with the airborne crest on them. This is why I don't move.
