Talking 65 members signed up and NO ONE IS POSTING! Come on people.

Boy this place is sure dead. Sorry to say that. I wish it would be a bit more active here. So, if you signed up here, how about dropping by and making some posts for us all to enjoy.

Get the word out about this forum to your fellow Boxster owners. It has great potential and the forum software is really nice to use.

Not to mention that Jorge has done some great work in improving the site layout and getting a better forum banner up across the top of all pages.

Yeap, its a bit slow. However, I am going to be shelling out sum BUCKS for advertising soon. Like anything on the web these days, It takes time.

My other forum has been up for 3 month and is doing better than expected. www.hometheaterdiscussion.com However, that site is in need of a major overhaul as far as looks go.

Smile For starters, where are you all located?

For starters, where are you all located?

I live in Southern California near San Diego. Some pretty nice twistys around here when you head out towards Palm Springs and the desert here. I am a very new Boxster owner, got a '99 AS/BLK/BLK on May 2nd and I am really having a ball with it. Just makes me want to yell with joy! Especially when I feel like passing cars at my whim. Boy, what a great feeling that is.

Yeah Jorge, I imagine it will pick up here and as you say it takes time. I appreciate your efforts a lot to maintain this forum and for giving people another choice.

I am in the Pcific Northwest. Portland Oregon. I live in the suburbs and have lots of winding roads. the mountains are only a 40 minute drive and the stae trooper count is one of the lowest in the country for a state this big. 3 years ago i heard it wa something like 300 for the whole state

Anyway, those guys do a good job of keeping the roads safe. Drive responsibly and they wont bother you too much.

Sorry guys, some of us are just watchers, not posters.

BTW, i'm in Chicago. Lots of flat land and straight roads, but the Boxster is still great to drive. We have to out a ways to hit good twisties here.

Hi -

I'm in Marlborough, MA ... about 35 miles west of Boston. I'm part of the GBBG regional group on here.

I tinker a bunch with my Boxster and will be sure to post my summer projects as they finish (Boxster S muffler on 98 Boxster, 996 bumper, Roock splitter, side skirts, Recaro Sport seats).

For now it's off to drive ...

Cool Brian. Look forward to seeing pictures of your projects on the '98. What's the Roock Splitter?

Where are you located

I live in Holland, Alphen a/d Rijn to be exact.

I am 32 years old, drive a Porsche BoxsterS (my01) which I bought new in december 2000. For my daily transport I use a Subaru Impreza MY99 which I bought used with 20k km.

I use the BoxsterS for fun only, until now about 27k km. (a lot of fun :-)

I also drive a motorcycle, Yamaha FJ1200, for fun only/ My wife drives a Peugeot 206gti and has a motorcycle as well (a Honda CMX 450 chopper :-(

I'm saving up for a second hand (e30 / e36) bmw m3 :-)

I'm married, have a 8 year old daughter and work as an IT-architect for a bank.

And yes, this place is dead ....
