Neither one of my tops have rings and the clamshells look flush to me.

If I don't have the little circles, I haven't been driving it enough. I didn't buy this roadster to drive with the top up. So the top is down for about 95% of the summer.

Always with the top down whenever the weather is nice. No circles on my roof and its 16 years old... I use micro midgets as they slowly clean the top all day and night long ....
