Programing Remote ??

Does anyone know if a new keyless entry remote key can be programed without going to the Stealership ? The remote key has two buttons and is for the 99 Boxster. Thanks.......

IF you have the hang tag with a barcode on it and a part number, then you will have to go to someone with a PST tool to have it programmed. Some independent repair shops have the Porsche System Tester tool and may do it for you.

If you bought the key without this all-important hang tag, you just wasted your money. It cannot be programmed or reprogrammed without that tag.
