986 factory roll at

I am thinking about doing a Scca track night. Does the 986 roll bar qualify as okay? The track is Thompson in RI.
Thanks.

It should, a few tracks like VIR require the BK extension but that is the exception rather than the rule. Plenty of boxsters have run at other scca track nights so should be good. Maybe someone here has run there in a boxster to confirm?

Its OK. I have done a track day in a Boxster there.

The basic rule is the broomstick rule: The driver's helmet must fit under a broom stick placed above the driver and touching the top of the windscreen to the top of the roll bar.
