Did the hack and put everything back together and not one light on in cluster or gauges. Is there a contact on the cluster that needs to touch or do I need to push each connector in tighter?
|
Did you cluster display the temperature before you started?
The OBC has to be enabled before the switch can access it. |

It sounds like the plugs for the cluster are not fully engaged. When you reconnect the plugs, make sure the sliding part of the connector is in all the way, it should kind of "snap" to let you know it is 100% connected. It's been a while since I did mine, but I think I had to test it 2-3 times, so I would recommend getting everything connected, then reconnect the battery and check it before reinstalling all of the screws that hold the cluster to the dash.

EDIT: On second thought, I will check the fuse to make sure I did not ground one of the wires as it would seem strange that all 3 plugs are not seated all the way into the cluster. |
BTW, I never disconnected the battery, is there a reason it has to be disconnected other than normal reasons?
|
I don't think disconnecting the battery is required, but I like to do it just to be safe when doing anything with electronics.

This morning check the fuses and all were good. Next I took the cluster back out again and the black connector was completely off I plugged in each one, one by one and everything is good now. Thank you for all the responses.

Always a safe move
