Thoughts on Side Intake Vents...

Hello all
Here is my question... I want the side air intake vents on my 986 to have the look of matte black plastic like the vents on the GT3 RS. I know of a few aftermarket carbon fiber ones, but they are high gloss. Has anyone here had any experience with matte black paint, or know of any other options I have not thought of... Even if there are other styles of vents out there I'm very interested to see examples and get more info.
THANKS FOR ANY HELP AND VIEW POINTS YOU GUYS CAN PROVIDE!!!

I just upgraded to the 03-04 style and painted them to match my car.

I used 03/04 vents on my 2000 too. A very nice easy upgrade. I also think they look better in a contrasting color.

A few years back, I got these 'turbo style' side scoops to replace the OEM parts. I really like them and comments at local Cars & Coffee have been very positive.

Thanks for the post. I dig the way those intakes look!!! I have found quite a few different styles in the pst few days... Good to know that there are some options out there.
