I think if you clean it up well, post a lot of detailed, high quality photos, marketed it right--through PCA/Rennlist/Pelican, and hit the right point in the season that could be a $13-14k car depending on your region.

Most sellers don't do the work necessary to sell a car like this at top dollar; doing so requires the steps above in most cases (and probably getting it advertised beyond your regional audience).

You might try BaT auctions, but they haven't been terribly kind to 986's.
