Mods 986 2003S

Anyone installed headers and chip for extra performance? What was the result and at what cost.

I have headers and a tune installed on my 2003s. car feels faster with the tune for sure and i installed headers at the same time as cat bypass pipes so i can't speak for just headers but it certainly makes a very nice but very loud sound. i bought the tune with pedro's techno power package which was 1700$ and catless headers from max speed for 750$.

What was included in Pedros package? How difficult was the install? I have been thinking about this mod.

I have a 2004 BSSE, and I think Porsche have already tuned this vehicle to get the extra HP making it 264. I already have the PSE, so I don't think I can squeeze that much more HP from this puppy. I'd probably get more value back by keeping it stock.

Here's a simple post and dyno plot to show the effect and cost of some simple and cheap-ish mods.

it had the tune from fvd a 76mm throttle body and his technotorque plenum, i had it installed at my mechanic while my box was getting its ims replaced but i can't imagine the install would be too hard
