Did you replace the lock cylinder or the ignition switch? Your post is confusing.

If you just replaced the ignition switch, it should not have affected the lock cylinder.
I just replaced the ignition switch....nothing else. Just that now, when I go to put the key into the car, it doesn't just slide in, and I have to move it a little to get it to go in, and this is at the tip of the key, right where it slides into the tumbler...I wouldn't think that the ignition switch should affect that, but it's slightly different now.
