Just curious about what this is.

Checked out my engine compartment the other day and this was laying next to it
.

Has a + on one side and what looks like an L on the other.

Is it foam? If so it could be part of the engine compartment insulation.

Might be one of the top supports (the rubber stops that the top bow lays on when down).

Looks like the seal/trim around/near the front of the clamshell.

Its the + with the circle around it that made me curious. Thought it might be a cover for something electrical.

That part looks like it got abused. Rolled over a few times on the highway. Sure its not just a highway garbage? From an AUDI maybe loll

Judging from your car's excellent condition, cant imagine you'd have parts looking like this. I say Not Yours!

ps; petrol-head forensic requires a ruler in the picture, a scale, or any pointers to help us visualize the size of your mysterious part

Is this a Rorschach test? The second photo looks like Texas.

Thanks, all I need to make it perfect is a set of your center caps. If you ever decide to make any more please put me on the list
