Relocate DSP control

My car has the DSP, I would like to move my HVAC to the spot where the DSP is and move the DSP up to the "cubby hole" location so I can perhaps install a NAV system.

Has anyone done this? I really would like to retain the DSP despite the lousy job it does.

Thanks!
Marc

Glad to read that someone else thinks that the DSP is piss poor also. Some where I have read that you can do that. It was either on here or on Renntech.

Also if you are thinking about getting the Porsche Nav setup, as I do, I would seriously consider replacing the head unit for one with the 7" pop out screen with nav, or put in one of the car computers. I have found that the maps that come from porsche are not that detailed, and have not been updated since 2001, or at least for my version.

The DSP is total crap.. but I want to keep it for some crazy reason.
I have found plenty of info on moving the HVAC to the lower console but nothing on moving the DSP.
