Headlight washer nozzle - replace with BWM donor part?

One of my headlight washer nozzles has flown the coop, literally. It must have popped out. I don't want to replace the entire washer unit, just the little nozzle. I read on the internet that a much less expensive BWM assembly is available as a donor. If anyone has actually done this, please let me know. The BMW part is said to be W0133-1842234 and is widely available for less than $30, new.

My theory is that that the headlight washer nozzles are lost when the edge of the socket that holds the nozzle in place cracks and is no longer able to hold on to it tightly enough to hold it in place when the headlight washer is activated. If this is indeed the case, be aware that any replacement nozzle you install in the original socket will also likely go flying if you attempt to use the washer thus making the headlight washers practically nonfunctional. Personally, I don't see this as great problem as I think whole concept of headlight washers is rather silly... In any case, having an empty nozzle socket just looks wrong. My solution to the empty socket problem was use nonworking replacements that my son designed and printed on the 3D resin printer. These replacements are purely cosmetic and that's OK with me because I can't imagine actually using headlight washers anyway.

Would you be willing to share the file ? i don't know about this stuff but my son is into all that 3d stuff and he says all he needs is the file and the local Library .. lol.. they have 3d printers and all he pays for is the material.

This 3-D printing solution is perfect. I also didn't find the headlight washers to be very useful. In fact I tried them only twice to see if they worked. I lost the nozzle on the second squirt. I'm good with keeping the car as it was when delivered, but don't mind if the nozzle is not functional. I don't have access to a 3-D printer but will look for a vacuum plug.

Sure, I'll share the file! My son Andy tells me that he made my nozzles with his resin printer because it produced far higher resolution part than his filament printer could make. He also said that the resin print would be more durable than one made with the PLA plastic that his filament printer uses. Keep that in mind when you go to the library... Do let us know if you're able to print nozzles that you can use.

The STL file can be found here; https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6725822

Here's a screen shot of the 3d model;

And the instaled nozzles;

liked your site ,, very nice ,,, too bad i couldn't find a place to ask questions.

As i have a couple Qs about your jack and axle stand point and how you got your car there I tried to use a Pelican article but that didnt work for me. They wanted you to jack inboard of the factory jack point and use factory jack point for axle stand. No way that is working for me .. Wondered how you did it.
