This is just gorgeous...

...has anyone here done anything like this in their frunk?

I'm sure most everyone has perused the Singer Vehicle Design website and drooled over their amazing work, but I just happened to come across this last night and wondered if this would work in the frunk of a Boxster. I would imagine an auto upholsterer would have to do the quilted leather bit. Very curious as to how these panels are made.

This particular 911 also has the same quilted leather lining the engine compartment.

I can't see leather holding up well in the engine compartment.

it can definitely be done fairly easily...expensively, if you want quality materials, but easily. The shop that did my top does things like this all the time.

On a car that's driven daily, certainly not.

Looks nice in older cars, but definitely not in ours.
