It is interesting how defensive this information has made some of you. It is only data. Some of you ascribe ulterior motives to the company, some simply trash the data as wrong or irrelevent.
It may be all that. However, as the moderator who slogs through all the defect compaints on this forum, I can tell you that from a reliability standpoint, the boys in Germany have a long way to go.
As an example, the way they have failed to fix the RMS design defect is simply criminal in my opinion.
For the price of these cars, I would expect better from them. Let the defect rate reflect what we pay for these cars.
That would make me a happier Porsche owner.
