Headlights again

Hello, I have just got a pair if Variel headlight covers. Has anyone used these? I can't find info' on a conversion.

I have several questions to ask of you. One being, is a litronic literally plug and play. as mentioned here "You can just slide out the old, and slide in the new and be done with it." (http://www.skylersrants.com/Porsche/Litronics/InstallingLights_Starting.html)?
Do I need additional hardware and any coding ?

How can I relocate the sidelight and indicator/turn signal wiring?
Sorry if this is in the wrong place but it's what I'm considering doing as I have both the covers and litronics available to me.
Thanks.
