acerche Registered User Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Irvine Posts: 1	New clutch? hi all, i have a '00 boxster with about 44k miles. i have noticed that when i am in first gear and release the clutch and apply some revs, there is a whining sqealing noise. it seems to be coming from the front area and is worse when I am starting on incline. It only happens in first gear and is worse when the car is cold. Does this mean a new clutch?
