@001 base rear speaker torn

Hello

Bought a 2001 base in October
Slowly addressing all the little things that need to be repaired
Noticed the passenger rear speaker is torn and distorting

Can anyone send a link as to how to access the rear speakers?

Thanks

MIke

Take the package shelf that contains the speakers out. With the top in the service position, there are two quarter turn plastic screws in the top of the shelf. Loosen the screws and then disconnect the speakers wire harness from the passenger side of the car (follow wires and you'll find the connector).
Once the connector is disconnected, remove the entire shelf assembly and turn it over. remove the speaker grills and you're home free. The speakers are easy to remove and replace.

Pelican Parts has a how to article on installing the whole rear speaker kit, that may be helpful for you too.
