I think they are built with those crimps. It's a good buy for those who like that look. Some actually like those exterior sebring pipes. Look how much it costs to get it new!...

I wonder if those crimps somehow moderate the exhaust note at idle, I saw in another post that folks that weld on pipes like for the Pedro sport exhaust get an unpleasant note at idle, like a Rambler with a blown out muffler.
