Tree sap

Greetings all- first time Porsche owner here.

Picked up a 1997 over the weekend from a client that "had" to get rid of it....got it for a song....

This is a project car for me, needs clutch, suspension work (winter project)

The finish is surprisingly clean for a non garage kept ride.

Issue is the plastic window; one glop of "aged" tree sap....

I've removed plenty of sap spots on the family fleet using heat with zero issues, but never off of plastic.

Internetz chock full of methods, but like they say, if it's on the internet it must be true...

Any real world advise?

TIA

Scott
