Please do not follow this advice about buying using the Bosch part number or an Interchange number.. Use ONLY the correct Porsche part number for your year and engine size. Some of the interchange charts for Bosch say BOSCH 13806 fits the model cited above (2001 S) .It does not fit.That is the part number for the 97-99 Boxster with the shorter cable and a completely different connector. You can find an example of this by looking on the Rock Auto site.Which is why you should use Pelican !
If you use the correct Porsche part number, you will be golden.
For my 2001 S, the correct part numbers are (but please verify for yours!)
Upstream = 986 606 127 01
Downstream = 986 606 128 01
Be careful you don't get xxxxxxx 126 01 That is the older model part .
I hope you can read between the lines about why I have become a reluctant expert on this confusion.
