Convertable Top Installer References

Does anyone have a reference for a quality installer of Boxster convertable tops in the CHICAGO or SOUTH EAST WISCONSIN area?

My 98' could use a top replacement w/glass to replace my existing plastic window top. I'm trying to find a shop that has Boxster experience and does good work.

Thanks in advance.

Do it yourself. If you have the 101 Projects book and another set downloaded from the web, it is a task that's not impossible. I'm pretty happy with the results.

I would go online and look at the local Chicago Porsche Club of America (PCA) website. There, you can find the local PCA sponsors and tech shops. You can then call them, and ask for their recommended top installers. Or, you can also go onto GAHH.com, and look up one of their local installers in your vicinity.

The sort of question to ask the service department at your Porsche dealer.

It's fairly likely they farm this work out.

Thanks...all good suggestions!
I think I'll first try to contact the Chicago Porsche Club, then a dealer or two.

Thanks!
