99 Lapis Blue w/Alpine and Infinity Sub

It's been about a month now since the truck dropped this at the house. Found it in Phoenix and had it shipped back to Georgia.
Last week, pulled the factory headunit and replaced with an Alpine UTE52BT mechless unit. Also added an Infinity BassLink SM behind the passenger seat as well. Infinity unit is 150w 8" enclosed and powered sub. Still have room to push seat back and recline as well and the sounds are unreal. I ran the power wire from behind the battery thru the firewall, and tucked the wire underneath the center console on driver's side. Mounted RCAs and Remote wire on passenger side tucked under the console as well. Looking for a set of 18" Turbo Twist and that's will be it for now.

Thanks Bruce. I am amazed at the color and the different shades that it appears. Sometimes Purple, Black, Blue and Green. I really like the Infinity BassLink and it's output. My original idea was to have the unit under the seat as it is only about 3 inches high, however the Boxster's seat at the rear bottom has a curved black metal piece that hangs just low enough that it rubs the unit under the seat. Still may take the seat out and try to fit the unit under the seat.My 6ft daughter was in the car today, first time since the install and she said she was still able to find a comfortable position, even with the unit behind the seat.

I looked at those under seat subs and figured they wouldn't work, just not enough clearance from what it looked like. It's nice to know this is an option. I really do love our color, I am always amazed at how deep it is.

Hopefully I will get a chance this weekend to pull the passenger seat and check. I did not consider the drivers seat do to the height adjustment of the seat. I have semi powered seats and the passenger seat height adjustment is fixed, so I figured that would be best. I can't agree more with the color. As well.
