Don't get too cocky. Just a year ago I posted the same milestone on my 2003 S. This fall, and 6k miles later I had a catrosphic failure that has all the hallmarks of IMS

I can never be comfortable driving this car. I can't listen to 2-3 songs without muting to make sure the engine isn't eating itself

The other day I drove 6 hours, car ran great, pull into gas station and while waiting in line a freaking CEL pops up. It was a 442 which I get from time to time especially if I've gotten gas during the day but still this car never lets me relaxe

Before this I had never had the pleasure of listening to an engines's valves meeting the pistons. I hope to never hear that sound again

I think Jager is probably the King of high mileage Boxsters. I'm at 133,000 with my 01S. Bought it six years ago this month at 87,000. That's almost 7700/year with winter hibernation November through April.
