Horn upgrade questions

Got these from FCP and thought they were gonna be be a drop in. NOT. Anybody have a recommendation on installing these. They are substantially larger at 5” diameter then the 3.5” stock horns, have different connectors, plus came with a relay (that I’m not sure I need) anyone?

I just replaced the high tone with an OEM from Pelican. At a minimum, you will need to drill out the mounting holes for the studs. There is a bit of room in there. You are going to have to trial and error fitment. Regarding the connections, you will need to cut the connectors off and wire direct via solder or crimps. I don't think you need the relay, unless they aren't 12 volt horns. The OEM horns were $16 more, seemed like a no brainer to me.

it wasn't price, my horns work fine. These are supposed to be louder and it was an impulse buy with my suspension kit. I need to cut connectors, no issue there. I don't think the bracket is going to work, or as you say, drill holes in the bracket to fit these two on it, but doesn't look like the stock location has space. ill either do it and post pictures or this is a garage sale item. :+)
Ill bet particlewave has some ideas!

Air horns..........I was going to say the same. Which ones did you get and how was your installation? Was your " panel open " on lock beep affected?
