Window regulator likely cause?

stantheman1 Registered User Join Date: Apr 2016 Location: seattle Posts: 31	possible root cause and a fix just had the exact same problem on my 01 boxster. Internet research indicated it was a bad microswitch on the door latch assembly as noted below. My local indie Porsche specialty shop replaced the entire latch assembly - their charge was $270 for the part and 2 hours labor. If you can isolate the specific bad switch and DIY, a switch is only $25 or so.
