Opinions wanted on centercaps
A forum member designed these sells them (I'm sure you are aware of the very talented Fred) and I'm having a hard time deciding between the black or the red for my Artcic Silver '03 S. My wheels are black and I think the red would go well with the brake calipers, but I don't want to detract from them. What do you guys think?

Black. I'm not a black wheel guy, but I think the black looks better. Go with your gut!

Red. A little color is a good thing.

Between those 2, I'd get the black cause it doesn't break up the overall look of the wheel. However, if it were me, I'd just get a colored crest against black done up. I think the central nut looks wannabe as the 5 bolts are still there to hold the wheels on.

Hands down the BLACK - the red does not match the same red as your Calipers so it will look taki... plus the black makes the Porsche Crest stand out and way more professional looking... the red looks cheap like your 'trying' to show off to hard. My 2.7 cents...
where you buying them from? Cost?

I love a hint of color. They both look sharp, but, I like the black better.

I was planning on doing the crest area black as well. I also had contemplated on the "wannabe" aspect of the whole thing, but I need new center crests as mine are badly faded and tortured from the sun so for the same price as OEM centercaps I thought I could do something different.

Don't mind the color but the design is too busy and the crest is too small. But that's just me. It's your car, do what you want.
On second thought, I'd get rid of the red thing and just get a larger crest cap.

Nope.
Looks completely poser with the visible lug bolts.
Get a set of eBay center caps. They're low cost and look good.

Yeah but some of the cheaper center caps melt at the track. Take them off before you go.

Friends don't let friends pretend they have center lock wheels.

I had my OEM centercaps color match painted to my grey wheels, and like the look...

Those look great. If I could just find the crests, I wouldn't need the caps...I would just replace the crests.
