Got an email from Suncoast last week and there is a new Porsche Motorsports Rucksack in the racing collection. Looks like this is for the 981/718 Boxsters but it may work for the 986, and at $37.95 the price is not too bad as things Porsche go. I can't post the link here, but you can find it at Suncoast. The item description also says "Note for some Boxster Models: If done with care, this can be attached to the roll bar and can be hung between the seats. Adds a little extra storage for your interior." Pelican Parts isn't carrying it yet, maybe they will.
Never knew these existed either but seems like a good idea with the interior storage space being quite limited in a 986 . Good luck with your endeavor .
