Estimate for new top.

Because of the break in on monday, I took the box to the dealer to get an estimate. Over the phone they said 4 - 5 k for a new top. The estimate came back for 2800. I asked if the "kit" for the top included the interior liner and was told "I dont see why it wouldnt" Can anyone confirm or deny that the interior liner would come with the OEM top? The aftermarket top with glass looks like you have to order it separate and i want to make sure the dealer estimate is accurate.

I had a factory top replacement under warranty about a year ago and they gave me a new liner. However the aftermarket ones use your existing liner.

Sorry, you absolutely answered the question I asked. But, what i meant to ask (and it wasnt at all clear) is whether the liner is a seperate part to order from the rest of the top. For example on the Gahh website, the top and interior liner are ordered seperately. I want to be sure that they (the dealer) didnt omit the liner in the estimate. His answer to my question was less then reassuring.

That i have no idea of, i would think they come together but knowing Porsche they probably dont. Why dont you go with an aftermarket Gahh top with a rear glass window? Its a whole lot cheaper with the same quality if not better.
