Brake wear light

Yesterday my brake wear light came on while I was driving and when I shut it off and restarted the car the light didn't come back on. I know my brake pads are not worn because I just replaced them about a month ago. I did a quick inspection and all sensors seem to be seated correctly in the pads so I'm guessing the sensors are failing. Is this a common issue with these cars? I see online that these sensors are pretty cheap so should I just replace all four sensors and be done with it or do I have a bigger problem with the brake system?
