P1539 code...need your thoughts asap!

Hey there-

I'm a newbie here on the forum, and a newbie with a 1999 Boxster that I am loving. Unfortunately, last night I started 'im up, hoping to go for the evening to-down sunset romp, and got a check engine light. The car was (and is) running like a watch. So I shut down, plugged in the OBD-II reader and got the P1539 engine code, "camshaft adjustment, bank 2".

Like I said, he's running like a baboon with a leopard on his butt, so I'm thinking that I might reset the light and ignore it for a while. Is this a terrible idea?

Please let me know your thoughts at your earliest convenience.

Thanks a million in advance!
