Where can I purchase

Where can I purchase a MT alignment tool .... My shifter is so sloppy

The alignment tool may or may not help. It will align the cables so the shifter engages the gears properly but won't do much for a worn out shifter with bushings that have 1" of slop in every direction.

If you don't have any problems with actually engaging gears, then you probably need a new shifter (or new shifter bushings).

I'm ordering a 997 short shifter from my friends at Part4Euro.com. So we will see what happens

I suppose it's too late, but highly recommend this. Have it on my Cayman and it's great.

Are you talking about this green piece?



If so, the part # is 000-721-961-91 and any dealer can order it in for you. It's only a couple bucks. I have one I don't need anymore if you want it.
