Got to drive a NASCAR and had a big Birthday
Well my wife bought me the NASCAR Experience for my big 60th Birthday. The wait to drive was agonizing in the hot sun but the drive was pretty amazing. I now have more respect for NASCAR drivers , the car couldn't have been more uncomfortable and visibility was just terrible. I have to say the first lap was thrilling taking a banked corner at 150+ Mph but the cars do it easily. Here is my group of friends that all went together to do this. I'm the old guy dead in the middle. The cars were supposed to be limited to 150 mph but I managed 156.9 mph due mostly I think to the slingshot effect of the most highly banked corner I had to go very high and then low to miss two stalled cars.

Happy birthday. Great gift. Great experience.
Having done a DE at Kansas Speedway, those walls in the banking sure do talk to you. They have a presence that you can't ignore, no matter how many laps you complete.
