Exhaust Rattle

From what I read here was sure my rattle was heat shield but turns out it's just my tips tapping. Looks like there should be some kind of spacer between these. Any ideas?

Well, this is not an OEM Porsche exhaust.

I can't see from the photo which material the exhaust is. I would say you need somebody who can weld the broken parts together, but you have to check first which welding type is possible and if it is possible. Exhaust has to be removed. Welded seams need to be cleaned, so there is no rust and then the parts has to be rewelded.

Else you have to buy new exhaust tips. But i don't know which ones will fit to your exhaust. You have to measure everything; especially the diameter of the connector pipes. Can't see from the picture if the exhaust tip is welded or clamped to the silencer.

Regards, Markus

I think you can install some v-band clamps easily, quickly and removable

I looked at V Clamps but not sure how you mean I can use them. Do they make them for side by side?

I think stelan means something like this:

I don't think that will work in that case, because the welds are rusted and brittle. Better to clean everything and reweld it.

Garage
The clamp is what I have on mine but it's a heat shield issue.
