Sorry to hear about the chips, nicks....I know what you mean tho. The first time I washed and detailed my car ( and it was a used '98), I REALLY got a look at the chips....it looked like someone exploded a can of white paint near it !
After a flying lava rock hit it tho, I got a new one, and yes, there are already a few nicks here and there....Get a paint kit to cover up your nicks and you'll feel better about it!
