Question 18" 911 Light Weight wheels

I'd like to upgrade my 99 boxster 17" "turbo twists" to the 2002 18" 911 light weight wheels.

Are the off sets for the boxster wheels the same as for 911s?

I know in the past the 911 had different off sets than did the 944/968 cars and therefor the wheels where not interchangable. (even though lug spacing is the same)

I don't blame you for wanting to change to the 18" carrera's. They actually look like they are designed to compliment the boxster more than the 911. They look stunning on the boxster. Sorry the wheels came on mine from the factory, so I don't have an answer for you question.
Good Luck

hey there

i was planning to upgrade to 18" carrera wheels so i've been doing some research on the matter. I drive a 2003 S and i've been told the wheels will fit but i would need spacers.

So i think that goes for ur car too...Just make sure u get the recomended tire width...265/back and 225/front... because the carrera uses 285 for the back wheels...

anyways good luck on what ever u decide to do..
