Sheople, You are warned to stop reading this now. It is not politically correct, you won't like it and it will upset you. Those who govern you or otherwise prey upon you would not approve. It stinks of everyone being responsible for themselves which is completely unacceptable.

For those who stink (particularly you Timco). There is room in the center console for a reasonably sized handgun. This is a Glock .40 Gen 4 with ample room around it. What is needed is a spring loaded door and mechanism to instantly present the gun.

No one asked for your opinion here.

Alan, why did you even post? If you have nothing pertinent to say, then say nothing.

My opinion? The best place for that gun is on you. Don't hide it in the car, carry it with. If you have to leave it there, center console and lock it. That's what I do.

I agree. I hate to sound like an advertisement but invest in a Milt Sparks belt and holster and you'll never take it off. Even in the snug Porsche seats.

Actually it didn't need to be said. Like at all. You live in the UK. You were raised in a different culture. Don't pretend to sit on a hill and look down on us like you have the answers and superior point of view. I said this in the other thread that somehow has gotten to a gun right discussion...and i say it for our austrailian friends, our canadian friends, really anyone who isn't American. You don't understand our culture or rights. I sure dont pretend to understand yours. Stop judging us through your lens. Further, if you have nothing constructive to say then say nothing. I'm sure our cultures share that idea.

Just the response I was expecting I'm not looking from any hill but it's all down to the law of demimishing returns if you have a stick I'll get a bigger one
Oh btw please tell your president to mind his own business and stop telling me how to vote in a national election if the boot was on the other foot I'm sure it wouldn't go down too well

If you wish to look past my point, that's fine. All I'm trying to say is I don't pretend to understand your culture. I do, however, respect that it's different than mine. In a similar way, I don't expect you to understand why we Americans enjoy our rights to own guns, but I would expect as a reasonable human being that you could at least respect it. I don't get that vibe from your snotty comment, and I invite you to better clarify your comment to me if I am wrong.

"My" president doesnt listen to much. In fact he's the reason for the spike in gun sales. He does whatever he wants. Will likely go down as one of the worst in history if you ask me. I'm guessing you aren't asking me though because you obviously lump all Americans together and have disdain for all of us due to the actions of one. Do a little more free thinking and zoom in on his approval rating first.

And timco is right. Hillary isn't too fond of the rights guaranteed by our country's founders and she'd fight tooth and nail to take every gun from citizens who abide by laws and legally own firearms for hunting or protection. Meanwhile, the criminal element will continue to obtain them and use them for malice. That's a whole other conversation though.

Wow a reasonable human being what a comment if my comment is snotty what is yours?
I respect ever body's right to be themselves. Surely that's part of being a democracy.
The point I'm trying to make is that if you carry a big stick someone else is going to catty a bigger one. If you decriminalise guns all that will be left will be the illegal ones so in that sense your up ship creek without a paddle.
I have no distain for you or your country and maybe I don't understand why you feel the need the bear arms but what I do know is that I live in a major city and can sleep well in my bed at night or drive around with the roof down where I want.
I know that there a number of countries in the world that have worse gun problems than yours but is that anything to be proud of?

On a separate note I don't envy your choice, Trump or Clinton

One thing clear. Not every gun owner straps their AR15 on their back at Walmart or the mall. That's the stereotype the left wants the world to see. Drink that koolaid if you wish.

And all add one more thing. He is NOT my president. Didn't vote for him, disagree on almost everything he says, and I'm tired of being the world's police force. We should indeed stay out of your business.

Timco 2016?

It's pretty sad when of the three people running one of the left is a self proclaimed socialist hates the free market and will raise middle class taxes, the other is extremely Hawkish and is begging for WW3... Also a criminal. Then the right has Andrew Jackson round 2 full of populism, walking all over the constitution, and tariffs... Freakin tariffs.

The two party system is pretty broken and I'll be voting third party this year.

With a gun in your face...what is the benefit of a handgun, stowed away somewhere in your car?

I do see the need for self-defense in the states, but honestly I am more scared of a nutter with a gun going mental.
As I had to serve in the army, loooooong time ago, i had to fire all possible guns. Been there, done that. Most fun was the MG3...everything else is a toy

No need to carry guns here, thank god.

I wonder if those women who were raped, robbed and molested at your festival feel the same?
Listen, other countries, if you enjoy being passive potential victims then fine. I won't criticize you for it.
Most of us here prefer to be responsible for the safety of our families. Will we succeed every time? Sadly, no. But our odds are far better than anyone else's.

^^^^^Really too bad you need to go on and on about your "opinion" the OP asked for a place to put a gun in the car. I really could care less about your beliefs etc. You made your response to Alan but then needed to go on and on and on and on.

Guys, guys...no one wants to take your toys away, you can keep 'em, if it makes you feel better.
Is there a full moon coming?
