I took it to my indie shop, and they gave it a test drive. The clutch is getting old, but not dead yet! I love a shop that does not recommend an expensive repair!

Be careful though. Mine went from "getting old" to hardly drive-able in a matter of days. Don't want to get stuck out on the highway somewhere.

It's been getting worse, but very slowly, and in a very linear way. I've been surprised, because I expected it to give up the ghost within a couple of weeks of doing damage to it.

I just had my clutch and fly wheel done last week. It is amazing how much better the car feels and sounds. A slowly wearing clutch is not always noticable until you change it out. Smoother, better take up and more 'solid' feeling.
