Can I get rid of the orange plastic on the headlight lens?

Can I replace it?

Will it come off?

Without buying Litronic lights.

Please search for deambering. There was a huge thread on this. The short answer is yes, but it's a lot of work. It's not an easy swap. You can find a set of halogen 03-04 lights and the will have clear turn lenses as another alternative to the litronics.

Thanks, did a search; no luck, but didn't know 'deambering' was a word.

Deambering or 'amberectomy' gets rid of the amber filter inside the facelift lights. But if you have the pre-facelift lights, look at the link Particlewave sent, as they can be made to look exactly like facelifts. The pre-facelifts also don't have the filter inside, so no amberectomy is needed.

So do Litronics have the amber filter inside?

Like the facelift lights?
