I Thought I Was Going to Have to Put Some Effort into Finding the Exhaust Leak

So I started to notice a tick tick tick sound under acceleration. No noise at idle, just acceleration. At first, I was worried maybe it was a valve adjustment and/or lifter issue. Then, it started to really sound like an exhaust leak from the passenger side. I then thought I would have to go out and buy a stethoscope and have my buddy come over to rev the car while I listened. Then I saw this fabulous job by the PO

I think I found the issue! At least he used RTV when he decided to go with the cork gasket

It's safe to say that cork gaskets aren't long-term fixes for exhausts.
