Drove it today

Well with the bad weather and my Knee injury just over a week ago my S has sat upstarted and non driven for 4 weeks now. I have gotten to the point where I can walk without crutches as of yesterday so I decided to take my Mom's CRV back home and see if I could drive my E36 so today I started up the E36 and drove it around a little ....no problem. I thought "Porsche you look sad sitting in there by yourself". So I got in and fired it right up, I let it idle for 30 seconds to get the oil back on top and moving and took her for a drive, it was no problem, I got it up to temp (just above 180deg) and then drove it for 15 minutes around...wow did I miss it. Took it back home and drove the E36 home for work Monday....glad my Knee is doing better

Dwight

Knee injuries... still worse than a full cast on the right arm.
Good to hear you're coming along!

Drove mine 2 days between trucks. It was nice to be back on the road.

Glad you're doing better. Need to be disciplined enough to let my back rest.

Having only manual cars for the last 14 years a left knee or ankle injury are real problems for transportation
Having to Shift with a gimpy left leg is like sneezing with a bad back. Knowing the pain thats coming

I got to drive a little bit a couple days ago, since 2 weeks ago and we go into deep freeze. While sitting at a light a new 911 somerhing drove buy with the most enjoyable exhaust note. I could hear it a half mile away
I was 911 jealous
