been awhile, in the process of moving... and having a new man cave built so this should get going faster in about a month.

so yesterday i popped the molds for the rear bumper... love it it came out perfect!!!! captured the detail just right. i still have to clean them up and make my parts out of them, then i can attach them to the bumper and get the rear quarter molds made up.

making bumper parts tonight pretty happy with how the molds came out. didnt take much clean up to have them ready to make the parts.

once these pumper parts are made and put on i can finish up the quarter panels and make those parts.... then paint... then engine swap... ya I'll be driving it in about 3 years lol

Well i don't think to many are paying attention to this thread but I'll update it anyway

so I started fitting the front bumper I bought last year... not such a good fit. I need to trim the rubber air dams(about to where my finger is pointing to in the pic below) and either cut the lower lip of the aluminum bumper or trim the bumper bringing the mesh forward... not sure which way I'm going to go yet. also need to really bend the sides inward to get them to there mounting location. not to impressed with fitment.

plan on putting in the middle radiator while I'm at since the bumper is off so i have enough cooling for the motor swap.

finally bonded one of the rear side bumper parts I made to the rear bumper. Second side should be done tonight. Then I'll start making the molds for the rear quarter panels. pics below

On a side note.. went to the porsche dealer in birmingham to convince my wife we need a new 911... succeeded lol should be pulling the trigger at the end of summer

Trust me bud, we are ALL watching this coming together. Its not because you don't get a whole lot of comments that ppl do not pay attention.

Ppl obviously prefer to comment on the final result, so when you'll be done prepare to be huge. Good crowd here

Personally, I'm actually subscribed to your thread

ps. Luck with the new garage built btw. I'm just in the process of putting a little shop together myself. Been busy setting-up High Speed CNC machining centers and rigging the shop pretty much all of winter. Still quite busy but happy to help you out if you need anything machined (from aluminum up to titanium) or if you need something engineered for your kits do let me know (fred at gtcollection dot com)
