Door latch spring cover

springer123 Registered User Join Date: Mar 2011 Location: Delaware Posts: 69	Door latch spring cover I replaced the drivers side door latch spring this morning and after it was all back together I noticed I forgot to reinstall a felt cover that the spring slides through! Does anyone know if this is necessary? I would hate to take it apart again just to thread the spring through this cover if it isn't necessary. Any thoughts?
