Where to find Porsche Part numbers

Is there a catalog of sorts available anywhere that will give me part numbers for my 2001 Porsche Boxster S? Nothing really specific immediately except maybe front and rear brake rotors. I see those as needing replacement soon.

google is your friend:

http://www.porsche.com/all/media/pdf/originalparts/usa/986_USA_KATALOG.pdf

Now this is not what I call a "good" PDF where you can search and find parts easily. It's a pain in the arse to page through the document until you get to the right area of the car where your broken part is located. But it's there.

Additionally, part numbers do change and get updated and there's a couple of parts you don't want to buy for your model year but from a newer model if it's a direct fit, so be sure to ask whomever you're buying parts from if there's a BETTER Porsche part to use.

Garage
********************************************.com has a good searchable parts list with diagrams.
Best pricing I have found on genuine Porsche parts is genuineporscheparts.com. They are a Porsche dealer that sells parts online

For all other parts (and check on factory parts) ******************************************************************************** . Put rennlist at checkout in the promo code box and get an extra 10% off

For rotors, I just bought Meyle drilled rotors for my 04 S on ebay. $75 a pair for the rear and $82 a pair for the front. Free shipping and they ship from Las Vegas, so probably a day or 2 to AZ. Your 01 most likely uses the same rotors as my 04

Sunset Imports in Oregon has great prices on genuine Porsche parts as well. 10% over their cost is what they sell for to out-of-state customers calling in to place orders.
