Water pump for 2000 box s recommendations

Anyone recommend a good water pump for 2000 box s? Prices I have seen range from 80 to 250.
Thanks.

Buy the best you can afford. Metal impellers are worse than plastic in the end if the bearing goes bad down the line. If you search there has been a few threads on this.

Get the kit from pelican parts. It includes the pierburg pump, thermostat and gaskets. Give or take 300.00. Not a job you want to do twice.

I'm on my third water pump in six years I've owned my '99. The first was OEM and went for 82K miles (CarFax showed no wp service had been done), the second was third party and went for 2,400 miles and the third is OEM and has about 20K miles. I'll never buy a third party pump again.

I'm on my forth. The first three were OEM and the last two lasted about 1 year/15000 miles each. The one I just put in was $67.00 from partsgeek.

This one I put on myself. Not that hard of a job if your hands aren't too big.
